The Aurora™ Hair Removal System is today's foremost technology available for hair removal. The concept of the Aurora™ Hair Removal System is entirely based on light, radio frequency and pigment.
The pigment in our hair naturally attracts the white light that is present in our environment every day. The light produced by the Aurora™ using ELOS™ technology is very much like the white light that our hair absorbs on a daily basis, but intensified and combined with radio frequencies. When intensified white light is specifically directed down into the hair follicles by a flash from the Aurora™, the pigment in the hair absorbs the light at an extreme intensity.
The light travels down the hair follicle and is drawn into the hair by the pigment. The light, of course, is a form of energy. This light "energy" is in the form of heat. Our hair follicles cannot withstand the heat produced by the light, and therefore are disabled and collapse. The radio frequency allows for deep penetration and uniform heating across the hair follicle. The skin and surrounding tissue are unharmed by this treatment - it only affects the hair follicle. Once the hair follicles collapse, the actively growing hair in that follicle works its way to the surface,
falls out, and is gone! The Aurora™ is safe, gentle and effective. Most people will see results within two to five treatments (depending on what kind of clearance you want to see.) The Aurora™ can effectively treat all areas of the body, from upper lip to full leg!
