Mesotherapy is a procedure used for weight loss and body sculpting to reduce, eliminate and contour specific undesired fat pockets. This method targets the receptors on fat cells that both produce and break down fat. Based on individual requirements, a formula is selected consisting of several medications that block the fat building receptors and stimulate the fat reducing receptors, allowing the fat to move out of the fat cells.
Traditionally, mesotherapy is the practice of injecting medications just under the surface of the skin which typically melts the fat beneath the skin and shrinks fat cells.
